Japan's first and only electronic music conference event prepares for second edition with a range of panels, workshops, installations, DJ sets and live performances in Shibuya, Tokyo. Taking place as the only electronic music industry conference in Japan, Tokyo Dance Music Event can now unveil their full, expansive programme for their sophomore edition. With a goal to strengthen the electronic music scene and encourage collaboration across Asia, TDME has revealed further details of key speakers, stages, and events that will feature across the schedule running from 30th November - 2nd December in the iconic Hikarie building in Shibuya. Bringing together leading figures of the scene from both Asian and global markets, the conference is set to be a truly inspirational weekend of networking and discussions around Japans music market, and also features a lively schedule of night-time club events and hands-on workshops.30th November - 2nd December can now unveil their full, expansive programme for their sophomore edition.

Prominent Japan based icons and influential global players will deliberate the current electronic music scene from each of their prospective ideologies and offer inspiring advice to those seeking careers. Spearheading the conferences over the course of the weekend are luminaries such as British-born, New York-based entrepreneur; Benji Rogers from dotBlackchain Media who will be presenting 'A Blockchain backed format for music, & the digital future of media', Steve Mayall from Music Ally, the leading digital music research, training and strategy company will be reporting 'Japan's Digital Future' plus Chiara Michieletto who will be discussing 'Instagram for brands and festivals'.

Also joining the panel will be Vlada Didenko from A2Live, confirmed to review 'Chinas Current Dance Music Development'. Anish Sood, Prateek Pandey Mark Lawrence and Kana Hatsushiba will be 'Bridging the Gap: The Electronic Dance Music scene in India & Japan', and following form the forward-thinking news site RA Japan will present 'Festival and their relationships with dance music culture in Japan' by Tobias Burgers, Masahiro Tsuchiya of Japanese festival Rainbow Disco Club, and SO of Japan's Labyrinth festival. Cherie Hu, a Media & Entertainment Contributor for the American business publication Forbes, will give her international perspective on the 'Streaming market in Japan', while DJ and Label owner of Mute, Daniel Miller will present 'Past, Present and Future'. Local highlights include Kana Hatsushiba or Shibuya club WOMB on their recent project 'WOMB Travel', and talks from Japanese artists such as starRo and Towa Tei.

TDME brand partners will also bring back its workshop series and sessions that will take place simultaneously in the Hikarie building. These include announcing first-round finalists from TDME's 2017 electronic creator audition INTERLUDE, as well as VJ Manami and Lighting Aiba on 'Thinking about VJs& lighting in the Japanese dance music scene', as well as an exclusive installation from techno mastermind Jeff Mills: 'Planets The Celestial Body Installation'. There will also be a Production Workshop from Spinnin' Records artist Mike Williams. Furthermore, TDME 2017 will feature a meet-up of Tokyo's Ableton community, this year focusing on the theme, 'Fusing real instruments and electronics', with a Pioneer DJ Workshop also scheduled, on their new 'DJ sampler DJS-1000'.

For panelists and other VIP ticket holders, TDME is holding a VIP reception on Thursday November 30 from 20:00 - 21:30, supported by premium Japanese sake company SUIGEI BREWING Co., Ltd.

With an array of renowned venues in the city, TDME will curate a storm of 6 shows across the weekend. For the first time Spinnin' Sessions will come to Japan with DJs EDX, Madison Mars, and Mike Williams at Hikarie Hall A on Friday night, and also confirmed for 1st December are; Sterne at Seminal Club Womb with Mute Records founder Daniel Miller, Live Electronica at Circus featuring the first Japan performance of the legend Danish electronic act Den Sorte Skole, and DISKO KLUBB presents "Mr.Ties" at Vent. On the Saturday, TDME sees the likes of Make Some Noise with SIKDOPE and young Japanese female talent moe at Sound Museum Vision. The final show to close the event, also on Saturday 1st December is Contact presents Cosmodelica with Colleen "Cosmo" Murphy and DJ Nori at Contact.

With an insightful programme planned for full of talks, workshops and world class acts, Tokyo Dance Music Event 2017 is set to continue to make a big impact on the Asian and global scene
