Today, Los Angeles-based alt-folk duo Freedom Fry, composed of Parisian-born Marie Seyrat and Michigan-born Bruce Driscoll, release their long-awaited debut albumClassic. Highlighted by harmonic vocals and sunshine-flecked feel-good rhythms, the twelve-track collection sees the couple emerge with their most ambitious work to date.
Included on the pair's debut album are previously released singles "Cold Blooded Heart," "Die Tryin," and title track "Classic" which topped the HypeMachine charts at #1.
Freedom Fry's music, which heavily bleeds the warmth and sunshine of their home state of California, skirts the lines between pop, folk, and alt rock and can be heard in over 50 films, shows, and commercials including Judd Apatow's Love, Showtime's Shameless, Grey's Anatomy, and in high-profile ads for fashion labels such as Lanvin and Madewell. They have performed in Europe and throughout the U.S. with the likes of Stromae, Phantogram, and X Ambassadors as they continue to independently amass over 60 million streams to date.
Be sure to check out the new album, and catch the band's kinetic live energy in Los Angeles and San Francisco at their record release parties!
