Los Angeles based alt-folk duo Freedom Fry announce their Strange Attraction EP set for release on September 7th. Composed of Parisian-born Marie Seyrat and Michigan-born Bruce Driscoll, the band has become known for their danceable rhythms and infectious feel-good sound. Today, they share first single "Strange Attraction" with BlackBook - available tomorrow on all digital retailers.
Highlighted by reverb-drenched guitars and a funky bassline, "Strange Attraction" is just a taste of what fans can expect from the upcoming EP. The duo explains, "It's 2017, you should be able to love whoever you want. We wanted to put that feeling of freedom in a song. We were listening to the Bee Gees a lot and our goal was to record the song in a way that would make you want to move." Freedom Fry has garnered over 50 million track streams and their music can be heard in over 50 films, shows, and commercials including Judd Apatow's "Love" and Grey's Anatomy. Freedom Fry has appeared on The Hype Machine over 50 times, including three #1's as they continue to turn heads on the international scale. They've performed in Europe and throughout the US with the likes of Stromae, Phantogram, X Ambassadors, and others.LISTEN/SHARE: "Strange Attraction"
