With uninhibited folk tones tinged by another time, Former Belle returns to bring fresh takes on the folk tradition inspired by artists both old and new. Led by singer-songwriter and CRUISR guitarist Bruno Catrambone, and calling to mind the melancholy of Elliott Smith and Bright Eyes, the outfit will release their latest 6-track EP Foreign Bed on April 8th. Their first release on Randm Records, the EP offers the group the opportunity to continue to share their profound alt-acoustic sensibilities with the world.
Since its start in the winter of 2010, Former Belle has taken on many different outfits, all led by front man, Bruno Catrambone. The project self-released a full band EP entitled Sounds From The Ground. Former Belle backed their first release with multiple regional tours as well as a five-week European tour. This began to shape the project into its new-found home of both full band and solo performances. After a year-long break while Catrambone pursued his other project, CRUISR, Bruno's downtime between tours, as well as writing on the road, led him to collect new songs combined with revisiting older material to bring his latest EP Foreign Bed to life.
