Acclaimed Australian producer Flume wins Best Dance/Electronic Album for Skin at the 59th Annual GRAMMY Awards. Flume, first-time Grammy-winner, said at the ceremony he is "really proud to be here representing Australia and Australian music on this stage right now."
The award follows eight ARIA Award-wins in his native Australia, including Album of the Year, Best Pop Release, Best Male Artist, Best Dance Release, Best Indie Release, Best Cover Artwork, Producer of the Year and Engineer of the Year.
Skin, which includes the 2x Platinum-certified song "Never Be Like You" featuring Kai and the Platinum-certified single "Say It" featuring Tove Lo, continues to receive critical praise-FlumeRolling Stone featured it as one of the "Best 45 Albums of 2016 So Far" and Billboard named it one of their "10 Best Dance/Electronic Albums of 2016" while TIME furthers, "it sounds like the future of electronic music." Most recently, Flume announced the Skin Companion EP II, which will be released digitally this Friday, February 17 and on vinyl on May 5.
