Firefly Music Festival, the east coast's largest music and camping festival, has added a special, late-night Saturday performance by Passion Pit, as part of their tour celebrating the 10th Anniversary of their breakthrough debut album, Manners.

Of the Manners milestone, frontman Michael Angelakos shared the following statement:

"One of the greatest challenges for me, has been attempting to listen back to Manners and not relive the terror, confusion, and euphoria that it was so vividly informed by. For most of my life, I've ignored or dismissed it as a type of coping mechanism. It always seemed to play back like an audible dream journal I can't even remember writing. And, the years we spent touring in support of it were never easy, especially in the beginning, as though playing the songs every single night were a form of exposure therapy in front of an audience. Ten years later, Manners seems to finally feel like the moment that it was: a tectonic shift during the strangest, most defining year of my life. To me, and to many of the people closest to the project, Manners has always been the most deeply misunderstood Passion Pit album. Eleven years after I began writing it, and ten more struggling to comprehend it, it suddenly does not seem so frivolous or self-absorbed to celebrate Manners - to celebrate surviving it, to get another chance to shine a certain light on it, but without the fear and the pain that went into making it. I can't think of a better way of doing so than performing it live, doing both the album and one of the most significant moments of my life, a healthy justice."

Firefly Music Festival is conveniently located within driving distance from most major metropolitan areas on the East Coast (map), including Philadelphia (under 2 hours), Baltimore (under 2 hours), Washington D.C (under 2 hours) and New York City (3 hours). Fans can also take advantage of Amtrak service to Wilmington, Delaware as well as SEPTA and Greyhound bus line service.

The Great Atlantic Campout, Firefly's new immersive camping experience, is comprised of North and South Camping (map), each offering a unique fan experience. Camping passholders for either location will enjoy upgrades to the grounds and facilities, top tier entertainment (in addition to festival performances) and creative programming all designed to foster a sense of camaraderie and community among fans during their long weekend of fun and music.

The Great Atlantic Campout's all new North Hub Beach Club, a sand beach entertainment complex located in North Camping (map), features a tiki bar, a water slide, beach volleyball and an upgraded stage with a late night silent disco and daily curated beach parties which will include Big Wild & Yung Baeon Friday, Klingande & Goldroom on Saturday and Matoma & Goldfish on Sunday, as well as more to be announced.

Campers in both North and South camping will also enjoy Firefly pre-parties on Thursday evening featuring Louis The Child, Gryffin (DJ Set), Saint Motel, Ripe, Emo Nite and more.
