Following the smash screenings of Peter Gabriel, Led Zeppelin and Paul McCartney concerts, the Ware Center| Millersville University now with Tellus 360 present the fourth installment in its classic rock concert series: Aerosmith's "Rock for the Rising Sun". The filmed concert - which was shot in high definition and surround sound -- will be shown only once at 7:30 PM at the Ware Center, followed by an Aerosmith Tribute Party at Tellus 360.

Aerosmith's "Rock for the Rising Sun" features the classic tracks: Love in an Elevator, Livin' On The Edge, Last Child, Walk This Way, Draw the Line, Sweet Emotion, Hangman Jury, and many more, with material drawn from shows throughout their tour. The concert was filmed on seven stages across Japan: Tokyo Dome, Kanazawa Ishikawa Sports Center, Hiroshima Green Garden Arena, Marine Messe Fukoka, Osaka Dome, Aichi Perfectur Gym, and the Sapporro Dome.

In March 2011, Japan was beset by a huge earthquake, a monstrous tsunami and the subsequent meltdown of the Fukushima nuclear plant. In the autumn of 2011, despite advice to the contrary, Aerosmith brought their Back On The Road tour to Japan, a country with which they'd always had a special relationship. The Japanese fans came out in droves and Aerosmith responded with some of the finest shows of their distinguished career. This film follows the band on that tour combining full-length live tracks with behind the scenes footage, which is at times touching and emotional and at others humorous and insightful.

Aerosmith are truly one of the great rock acts of all time and this incredible concert film brings together tracks from across their storied career. A live band par excellence, Aerosmith's "Rock for the Rising Sun" shows them rolling up their sleeves and doing what they do better than anyone else.

Aerosmith band members are legends, icons and idols, dynamic in the present; as cool and innovative now as they were thirty years ago. They are a phenomenon, a force of nature, trail-blazing, unstoppable, showing no signs of slowing down. Unique even among the select handful of rock bands that are still active after their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction, Aerosmith has sold over 100 million albums and become one of the most powerful and electrifying forces in popular music.

Rewind for a minute to the early '70s, when the phrase "sex, drugs and rock & roll" was a rebellious teenager. Enter Aerosmith with a sexy swagger and thrusts of metal, glam and boogie woogie. Tyler's lyrics laced with double entendres and witty humor perfectly complimented by the entire group cool urban charisma. Beyond driving rock and roll tunes, Aerosmith created quintessential power ballads such as Dream On. This dual skill set gave the band a string of gold and platinum albums, including Get Your Wings, Toys in the Attic and Rocks.

They have been on top of the charts since with CDs like Permanent Vacation, Pump, Get a Grip and Nine Lives, Just Push Play, and their latest release, the blues-inspired 'Honkin' on Bobo'. And the killer videos - a driving force of the video medium, these Boston rockers led the look, style and attitude of the '80s MTV generation. Videos for Dude Looks Like a Lady, Livin' On The Edge and Crazy (starring Tyler's daughter, Liv) are solid MTV classics. And later, with videos like Pink and Jaded, Aerosmith continued to cut The Edge.

Always a step ahead of the pack, Aerosmith's Just Push Play is the first album to be produced by band members Steven Tyler and Joe Perry (along with Mark Hudson and Marti Frederiksen). The unforgettable pop melodies and bone-shaking rock riffs that are Just Push Play sent Aerosmith even further on their path to musical immortality.

Released this fall and not previously shown in Lancaster, the film runs 96 minutes and will be shown - full force - in surround sound played at 100+ decibels. (Loud.)
