Rising hip-hop artist Felly confirms his tour dates this fall with shows including San Francisco, New York, Chicago, Atlanta, Denver, Los Angeles and more. The shows are in support of his latest studio album, Wild Strawberries, which was released last month via Cinematic Music Group. Further establishing his foothold in the rap and hip-hop world, Felly is slated to support T-Pain for two nights in California on October 4 at San Francisco's The Independent and October 5 at Los Angeles's Roxy Theatre. See below for a complete tour itinerary.
While studying music as an undergraduate at University of Southern California Felly built an extensive, dedicated fan base with five albums, one mixtape, 10 million Spotify plays and multiple tours-a number of shows were stretched across weekends away from school. What began with creating beats on a laptop in his basement evolved into a full-fledged touring act and an extensive YouTube following. Prior to graduation, Felly performed at SXSW and embarked on a 20-city headline tour culminating in a sold-out 1,200 cap show in Chicago.
Last year, Felly released his first EP titled Young Fel, which featured hit single "Desert Eagle," garnering 3.4 million streams on Spotify and over a million YouTube views. The release of his first two projects in 2014-Waking Up to Sirens and Milk and Sugar-featured collaborations with Dreamville signee Ari Lennox and frequent collaborator GYYPS. After his final fall semester of college, Felly embarked on The Mermaid Gang Tour nearing 40 dates nationwide, including the historic El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles, CA.
Just this month, Felly debuted a new video for his track "Above Water (ft. GYYPS)" taken from the new album-watch/share HERE.. Featured on the new record are contributions by Konshens and GYYPS plus production from Dre Moon, Dot Da Genius, YoG$ and more. Hot New Hip Hop hailed Wild Strawberries as "a complex, enriching aural ecosystem that you can get lost in if you're not careful."
