The Bijou Theatre presents The Fairfield County Jazz Guild Series. The local Big Band fills the Bijou with the sounds of 20th Century American Music on Sunday, February 22nd & Saturday, March 22nd at 4:00pm. Tickets are $25 for theatre seats and $35 for table seats.
Valerie Ahneman and Gene Leone Sr., Executive Director of the Fairfield County Jazz Guild present Red, White and Blues: A Musical, a narrated retrospective of Popular American Music of the 20th Century covering New Orleans Jazz, Gospels, The Roaring 20s, Cabaret, Swing, Standards, Motown, Blues, Funk and Rockabilly with Elvis and Jerry Lee Lewis.
You will recognize well known tunes and be pulled back in time!

In addition to the 10-piece Fairfield County Jazz Guild Orchestra led by Harold Zinno and Jake Epstein, the show features a plethora of talent - the Sensational Starlights, Dr. Joe Utterback, Michael Jovovich, Billy Lopez, Valerie Ahneman, Carl DeVellis, Steve Clarke, Michael Dunham, Jen Durkin, Paul Gabriel, crooner Cookie Thomas, Teen blues sensation Bobby Paltauf, as well as Jay Sweeney as Jerry Lee Lewis and Patrick Perone as Elvis.
