The movie will be released in select theaters nationwide on November 8.
Hello Sunshine, a part of Candle Media, and Good-People has announced that their new documentary feature film FANMADE: ENHYPEN will be released in select AMC theaters nationwide on November 8. The new documentary follows the parallel journeys of the global K-pop sensation ENHYPEN and their fans (called ENGENEs). The story builds toward an intimate concert in which five female fans from around the country come together to create a first of its kind experience for the band and the ENGENE community.
Through exclusive behind-the-scenes footage, candid interviews, and magnetic performances, FANMADE: ENHYPEN grants viewers unprecedented access to ENHYPEN’s JUNGWON, HEESEUNG, JAY, JAKE, SUNGHOON, SUNOO, and NI-KI on a personal level as they embark upon their highly anticipated U.S. arena tour. Meanwhile, their lives intersect with five very special female fans as they prepare for a Samsung Galaxy Fanmade concert, offering viewers a unique lens into the wild world of K-pop fandom. While revealing their hopes and ambitions, the ENHYPEN members reflect on why ENGENEs, who have supported their growth as a band from the moment they became a group, have remained central to their journey.
The film was produced by acclaimed filmmaker Caroline Suh (Blackpink: Light Up the Sky, Working: What We Do All Day with President Obama, Salt Fat Acid Heat), Cara Mones (Blackpink: Light Up the Sky, Sorry/Not Sorry), and Casey Feldman and William Swann (Trainwreck, Exposure). Sara Rea, Cassie Lambert Scalettar, and Zoe Fairbourn executive produced the film on behalf of Hello Sunshine.
Last week saw the release of the film’s original song “Home,” performed by ENHYPEN. “Home” was originally presented by ENHYPEN’s fanbase, ENGENEs, as a surprise to the band during their live Samsung Galaxy Fanmade special fan concert, which was broadcast live in IMAX® theaters last May, a first for a K-Pop band. In a touching moment, fans stopped the show to sing “Home” to ENHYPEN. Now, to give back to their fans, ENHYPEN has recorded the song as the feature track for their new documentary film FANMADE: ENHYPEN which will be released later this year. You can listen to the song HERE and watch the music video HERE.
Produced by Rob Grimaldi and co-written by Grimaldi and Ryan Curtis, “Home” captures the profound connection between the band and their fans, a relationship celebrated in the documentary. Grimaldi, known for hits like BTS’s “Butter” and BLACKPINK’s “Love to Hate Me,” teamed up with Curtis, who previously penned ENHYPEN’s “Bills” and “Orange Flower (You Complete Me),” to craft the powerful anthem. The track was mixed by renowned mixer Alex Ghenea. The music video, featuring bonus footage from the documentary, showcases the intimate moments shared between the band members and their fans on the road and during their triumphant Galaxy Fanmade concert, vividly bringing the song's themes to life. “Home” is available to listen wherever you stream music.
