Experimental Electro Artist Tesha Debuts WONDER Ahead of EP Release 1/25 Image

Looking forward to the release of her second EP Growing Pain II, Brooklyn-via-Tel Aviv experimental songwriter, producer, and visual artist Tesha is debuting another piece of the puzzle via Floated Magazine, this time the hypnotizing, breathy "Wonder."

Tesha's obscured, airy vocals proclaim that "The choices you make / soon will become / the life that you summon / the overall sum." She explains, "This is a tale about how we are all so blind to understand the simple secrets that are somehow hidden right in front of our eyes. Why aren't we all living the life that we want? Why don't we recognize that truth?" Indeed, the song and the whole EP serve as an existentialist sort of struggle, wrestling with death and the ambiguity of life; the open-endedness of these questions and meanings reflected in the minimalist, off-kilter sounds and melodies. Growing Pain II will be released January 25, 2019.

Stream + Share "Wonder"

Known as TESHA ????, the forward thinking singer-songwriter and producer creates self empowering, ruminative and equality driven experimental electro-acoustic focused on the wonders and unknowns of life. Born in Israel and raised playing her mother's living room piano, she drew inspiration from the likes of Laurie Anderson, Kate Bush and the classical era. After the loss of both parents during adolescence-early 20's, her purpose was ignited and soon dedicated her life to music. A year later, she moved to Brooklyn, piecing together hours of self-taught vocals and experimentation with synth production. Embracing the unknown, she transcribed the visuals delivered from her dreams. An intrinsically beautiful place where form, rawness, vulnerability and unconditional love runs free. While in this place, she learned to overcome many of life's obstacles. Walking forward, and coming back with treasures from dark recesses, sculpting the framework of her self-released debut EP, Growing Pain II.
