Lakeshore Records and Broadway Records are set to release the score to Scrooge: A Christmas Carol-Music From The Netflix Film digitally on December 16. Pre-save the soundtrack here.

The score is by award-winning composer Jeremy Holland-Smith (Musical Director for West End Production of Billy Elliot). Produced by Timeless Films in association with Axis Studios and directed by Stephen Donnelly, Charles Dickens' ageless legend is reborn in this supernatural, time-travelling, musical adaptation of the definitive Christmas story.

BroadwayWorld is exclusively sharing two songs from the soundtrack, "Ebenezer Are You There" and "From Present To Future." Be the first to hear the new tracks from the soundtrack below!

"The animation takes the viewer from Victorian London to some supernatural and psychedelic ghostly settings, and the musical score accompanies the viewer on that journey - whilst working around the re-imagined original songs and the two new songs that I wrote with the director," Smith stated.

"The period festive setting and classic songs called for a full and vibrant orchestral score which could be used to enhance the intense ghostly imagery but also be sensitive to the raw emotions felt by so many of the characters in the story. I wanted to write a score that stayed authentic to the core of the musical originally produced over 40 years ago, but that complimented the energy of the modernized British animation and the characters produced by it. Huge thanks to all the fine musicians, singers and engineers involved in recording this score at the wonderful and incomparable Air Studios, London."
