Acclaimed singer-songwriter Ethan Gruska has announced a U.S. tour with Lucius for Spring 2018. Beginning on March 3 in Los Angeles, the 15-date stint adds to the singer's extensive touring throughout this year. Ethan also just confirmed a residency at L.A.'s Bootleg Theater in January 2018. Gruska's debut solo album, Slowmotionary, was released earlier this year to widespread critical acclaim, including Clash Magazine, Los Angeles Times, The Wild Honey Pie, andThe Sunday Times who declares, "The combination of his tremulous high tenor voice, soul-baring lyrics, spare but richly textured instrumentation and chord progressions that nod to Joni Mitchell, Paul Simon, Randy Newman and Elliott Smith produces music of startling beauty and emotional resonance." Throughout his solo career, Gruska has performed on Last Call With Carson Daly, KCRW's Morning Becomes Eclectic, and completed nationwide tours with internationally acclaimed artists Agnes Obel, Ray LaMontagne and Asgeir, in addition to a residency at Hotel Café this past summer. He co-produced Phoebe Bridgers' album, Stranger In The Alps, which has generated praise from NPR, Under The Radar, Stereogum, and more since its release earlier this fall. He most recently released a new track, "Teenage Drug,"alongside an accompanying Mahogany Sessions video, placing Ethan in the company of more than 400 artists showcased by the UK-based series, including Hozier, Bastille, Børns, Laura Marling and more.Videos
