For the first time, this 23-year holiday tradition comes to New York City! The Rob Mathes Holiday Concert, featuring a world-class backing band and vocalists Vaneese Thomas and D-Train Williams, celebrates the season with a funk- and R&B-laden tour through holiday classics, pop covers, and original material.

The Rob Mathes Holiday Concert, a tradition since 1993, finally comes to Manhattan this December for one concert only! Don't miss an afternoon with Emmy winner and Grammy, Tony and Drama Desk Award nominated Rob Mathes as he lights up the Schimmel stage with his all-star six-piece horn section and a backing band filled with studio legends from SNL, David Letterman's Late Show, and Paul Simon's band. Celebrated vocalists Vaneese Thomas and James "D-Train" Williams round out the powerhouse cast. Expect an afternoon filled with high-energy reimaginings and a celebration of the holiday spirit!

Rob Mathes has produced records for Sting, Carly Simon, Panic At The Disco, and Bettye Lavette, among many others. As an arranger, he has worked for a who's who list of artists, from rock and pop legends Bruce Springsteen, James Taylor, Aretha Franklin, Beyonce, Bono, and Elton John to classical and jazz artists like Luciano Pavarotti, Yo-Yo Ma, Dave Brubeck, and Tony Bennett. He won the Emmy Award for his musical direction of the Kennedy Center Honors and musically directed the Obama Inauguration at the Lincoln Memorial, Pope Francis' Concert For Hope at Madison Square Garden, and the Songwriter's Hall of Fame show, which he has directed since 1998.
