Encore! Sessions, produced by Forward and sponsored by Absolut Elyx, made its Los Angeles debut Grammy weekend with an event held on Friday, January 24 at The Standard Hollywood's intimate club mmhmmm, and co-hosted by 300 Entertainment--the new company started by former Warner Music Group recorded music executives Lyor Cohen, Todd Moscowitz and Kevin Liles. The event, named one of "The Top 10 Grammy Parties" by the Hollywood Reporter, featured performances from 300 artist ASTR, and deejay sets from the Been Trill collective and Wade Crescent.
The packed party played host to names including an unmasked Daft Punk-who went on to win Record & Album of the Year wins at the Grammys, among other awards-along with their Grammy-winning producer DJ Falcon, pop starlets Rita Ora and Sky Ferreira, actresses Jessica Alba and Josephine de la Baume, members of hip hop collective Odd Future, 2 Live Crew's Luther Campbell, Blood Diamonds, A Fine Frenzy's Alison Sudol, Adrian Younge and Dan Black.
A number of the music industry's biggest behind-the-scenes names also came out to join Absolut VP of Global Marketing Jonas Tåhlin for the party, including 300 co-founder Todd Moscowitz and head of A&R Pete Giberga, Tommy Boy founder Tom Silverman-who was there to support his daughter and ASTR lead singer Zoe, BET Chairman & CEO Debra Lee, Career Artist Management CEO Jordan Feldstein, Kitsuné co-founder Gildas Loaëc, Roc Nation's Jason Iley and Jennifer Justice, Warner Brothers Records execs Hildi Snodgrass and Lori Feldman, legendary club promoter Susanne Bartsch, and photographer & director of Beyoncé's recent "Jealous" video Francesco Carrozzini, among many more.
