According to EW, music legend Elton John will give a special performance today, Saturday, February 27th, at 12 p.m. PT to thank West Hollywood for its longtime support of his AIDS foundation, which has been in operation since 1992.

Sir Elton John created EJAF over twenty years ago, first in the United States in 1992 and then in the United Kingdomin 1993. The two foundations together have raised more than $325 million over the past two decades plus, to combat stigma, prevent infections, provide treatment and services, and motivate governments to end AIDS.
Elton John is married to David Furnish. The two worked together on Broadway's Next Fall and Billy Elliot: The Musical, have two children, Zachary and Elijah. Among Elton John's other Broadway credits are The Lion King, Aida (for which he earned a Tony Award in 2009), and Lestat.
