Breakout pop star Ella Vos premieres her video for "Empty Hands" today-watch here. Debuting today at Popdust, the video shows Vos' last treatment for lymphoma, while the song was written during her first treatment session.
"Empty Hands" is taken from Vos' new EP, Watch and Wait, which explores her illness and diagnosis through a deeply personal lens. Building on over 1.5 million monthly listeners, the project is receiving critical acclaim with Uproxx calling it "cathartic and confessional," while Earmilk proclaims, "[Vos] pours her life and soul into this latest, and it's breathtaking." Previously released EP tracks include "Ocean," "Temporary" and "Cast Away."
Vos recently confirmed the dates of her North American tour that will see her perform with support from Clara Mae this spring in Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Austin, Nashville, DC, New York, Chicago and more-see below for the full list of dates. Tickets are on sale now.
Acclaimed for her dreamy soundscape and songwriting that explores postpartum depression, motherhood and love from a fierce feminist perspective, Vos' debut album has been praised by the likes of Rolling Stone, Huffington Post, Nylon, Coveteur, Dujour, MILK and Earmilk. Vos has consistently sold out shows across North America. With more than 200 million streams on Spotify to date, Ella Vos' songs have soundtracked ABC's "Grey's Anatomy," MTV's "Catfish," E!'s "Life of Kylie" and The CW's "The Originals." Recently, Vevo dscvr named Vos one of their 2018 Artists To Watch-watch her performance of "I Know You Care" here. In 2019, Ella will be playing festivals, with headlining dates to be announced very soon.
