Irreverent alt-country quintet El Campo have returned to bring more banjo-kicked, folk inspired fun with the release of their latest EP, Skinny Kids/Sloe-Eyed. Driven by their down-home flair and enlightened songwriting chops, the 7" double A-side will offer a hint of what's on the horizon for the Texas crew. The Skinny Kids/Sloe-Eyed double-A Side will be available to graze the eardrums of fans old and new on January 15th.
Meanwhile, "Sloe-Eyed" channels that 90's emo spirit and shakes a little desert sand all over it. The track was unleashed by Elmore and is available HERE
El Campo is singer-songwriter guitarist Jerid Reed Morris, pedal-steel player and singer Nick Richman, Bulls fan and banjo-picker extraordinaire Zach Almaguer, drummer and taco aficionado Rodolfo Villareal III and bassist Charlie Cruz. The quintet split their time between the Austin and San Antonio, and spend their time touring, recording, and remembering all day the precious Alamo.
