Dublin-born producer EMBRZ has released his new single 'Last Thread' featuring the vocal talents of South London vocalist Huntar.
Utilising a slick mixture of twisted pop and futuristic R&B, 'Last Thread' showcases EMBRZ's synth-laden electronic sound, with Huntar's emotive vocal style proving the perfect accompaniment for the record's soft and melodic tones.
Making his name as a self-taught producer, Jack Casey, better known as EMBRZ first tasted success with his trio of massive remixes for Ellie Goulding's 'How Long Will I Love You', Carly Rae Jepsen's'Run Away With Me' and The 1975's 'Settle Down'. The collection of reworks showcased his versatility as a producer, receiving over 14 million combined streams between them.
Gaining inspiration from acts like Daft Punk and deadmau5, EMBRZ made his switch intro electronic music upon hearing the mau5trap owner's 2009 anthem 'I Remember'. Influenced by the track's progressive style, EMBRZ soon began to cement his own deep impact on the scene with his unique, genre-defying sound.
The Irishman has since released a steady stream of melodic club heaters, amassing over 20 million Spotify streams in his career to date, thanks to hits like 'Breathe' previous single 'She Won't Let Me Down', and HypeMachine chart-topper 'Higher'. With EMBRZ's showcasing his rich electronic sound - oozing with both playfulness and maturity across his five-track 'Progress' EP, the Irishman soon started to clock up a wide-range of radio support, with stations such as BBC Radio 1, Sirius XM, and RTE(Ireland) all backing the fast-rising talent.
Bringing his lush melodies to various stages in recent years, including Longitude, Beatyard Festival, IMS Ibiza, SXSW, UpNorth Festival, EMBRZ has also performed live shows in Berlin, Brussels, andMalta, as well as supporting both Shallou and SG Lewis on their respective tours.
With the multi-skilled producer's stock continuing to rise meteorically throughout the dance world, his latest single 'Last Thread' serves as the perfect embodiment of his slick, downtempo style, and is out today via Ultra Records.
