Multi-talented singer and MC EMAN8 has delivered the stirring official video release for his latest track,'Inspired.'
Directed by Justin Frick, the 'Inspired' video tells the story of a young woman who struggles to find her inspiration amongst the mundane nature of her life. The lead character eventually manages to overcome her fears through the little things that bring her joy.
Featuring EMAN8 himself, and a special cameo from his mother, the inspiration behind the track's bridge is a lullaby she used to sing to him a child and lands perfectly in the track before the final chorus. "We live in a time where we all just want to feel good..." says EMAN8, "We crave to feel something. 'Inspired' is an autobiography of an artist battling insecurity & chasing fulfillment."
'Inspired' is the second single from EMAN8's debut self-titled album - which is set to drop in late Spring - and follows the success of his Billboard-supported single 'Amen'.
With the West-Coasted based talent taking his title from his Jamaican middle name 'Emanate', the prodigious artist honed his craft via a childhood spent in Saint Louis, fusing elements of hip-hop, soul, ska, and electronic.
Inspired by his Caribbean roots, as well as a passion for 90's hip hop & soul paved by artists like J Dilla, Dr Dre, Lauryn Hill & The Fugees, 'Inspired' is a slick showcase of EMAN8's infectious style, with the official video release dropping today.
