Dwight Yoakam to Perform Intimate Show in the Hamptons for SiriusXM

GRAMMY Award-winning entertainment icon Dwight Yoakam will perform a very special, invitation-only concert for SiriusXM on Wednesday, August 30, at The Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett, NY. The intimate show, which will find Yoakam performing signature songs from his 30-plus-year career, as well as dipping into his vast repertoire of covers, will air live on SiriusXM's Outlaw Country (channel 60) and Prime Country (channel 58) at 9:00 p.m. ET. It can also be streamed through the SiriusXM app on smartphones and other connected devices, as well as online at siriusxm.com.

Dwight Yoakam & The Bakersfield Beat, a channel curated by Yoakam himself, can be heard on SiriusXM's Prime Country for a limited time and will feature music from Yoakam's extensive career as well that of his musical friends and heroes. Dwight Yoakam & The Bakersfield Beat will air Friday, September 1, through Monday, September 4, on channel 58.
Yoakam burst onto the music scene with his chart-topping 1986 album Guitars, Cadillacs, Etc., Etc. and has received multiple GRAMMY, Country Music Awards, and American Music Awards awards. He has 12 gold albums and nine platinum or multi-platinum albums, with five of those albums topping Billboard's Country Albums chart and another 14 landing in the Top 10. In addition to his musical career, Yoakam is a respected film and television actor whose films include Sling Blade and The Newton Boys. In 2016, he appeared in David E. Kelley's Amazon series, Goliath. He currently appears in Steven Soderbergh's new Amazon feature Logan Lucky with Channing Tatum and Daniel Craig.
