DryCappuccino Entertainment, LLC is pleased to announce the release of the new original Livin It Up (In My Mid Life Crisis) featuring Walter Tates Jr. on sax.

Sometimes it's just time to turn around and go the other way. That's just what Mark "DryCappuccinoGuy" McKinney did. After years of raising a family and working hard making other people money, he found himself alone and without direction. Looking to his past for inspiration he discovered music again. Over the past few years, he has been working on his dream and has never felt better. It all started with an idea to someday write a musical. With a little help, and a lot of patience, Mark purchased instruments and recording equipment and started construction on a small but effective home studio. He did quite a bit of studying and with a bit of help he was able to begin recording in January of 2010. The resulting single "Livin It Up (In My Mid Life Crisis)" is the first, but definitely not the last of many projects to come.

The idea was to start with a couple of songs, so he started with a chart written and orchestrated entirely on computer. The goal was to start with the easiest song firSt. Mark was able to enlist the talent of some of the D.C. areas talented rising stars as well as experienced veterans to complete the songs. But despite being more complex, "Livin It Up" took on a life of its own. The musician's enthusiasm for catchy melody and infectious rhythm took over and as a result it was finished first. "It turned out to be a significant technical challenge that was a tremendous learning experience" says Mark "DryCappuccinoGuy" McKinney.

Things continue to grow and evolve as DryCappuccino Entertainment; LLC now takes on the face of a record company.

Mark would like to issue many thanks to all those that helped to make this dream come true, especially the musicians and engineers.

Luis Garay: Inspiration and Percussion (Conga, Timbale, Bongos and Shaker)
Nathan Read: Drummer Extraordinaire
Bryan Dawley: Electric Bass

Special thanks to Walter Tates Jr. who's Baritone and Soprano Sax performances made this song what it really is today. Oh yeah he did the vocal too!!!

Walter Tates Jr.'s saxophone artistry truly brings this performance to life. He is the leader of D.C.'s own One Night Stand which has been playing in the surrounding area for over twelve years. Walter is also half of a dynamic duo called Enside Out, with his beautiful wife Sista Pat. He is a phenomenal saxophonist, effortlessly playing everything from Jazz, Pop, to Reggae, and anything in between.
