Dorothy has released "Who Do You Love" as an instant-grat track from their forthcoming sophomore full-length release 28 Days in the Valley, out worldwide on March 16th. The song follows the lead single "Flawless" which is currently in rotation across the country, including early spins from the world-famous Los Angeles favorite KROQ, KLOS and SiriusXM's Octane. 28 Days in the Valley is currently available on all platforms for digital pre-order.
"Who Do You Love" is a track that solidifies Dorothy definitively as a rockstar. The ballad oozes with 70's-influenced rock n' roll, as the band seamlessly weaves through a cinematic landscape. It takes you on a rollercoaster ride of highs and lows, emotionally charged by a lover who is devastatingly declared by singer Dorothy Martin as "frozen inside," as she contemplates "who do you love when your love runs dry?"
On the topic of the new album, Martin explores the difference between love and fear, sharing that "the main message of this album is to not live in fear; it's to transform everything in your life to be on the frequency of love, which is so powerful and all healing. That's what this record is all about."
Dorothy is about to embark on the second half of their 2018 Freedom Tour, for which they partnered with BOSS to support the band's grassroots initiative to choose local artists as opening acts for reach stop along the route. Next week they'll kick things off with two headlining shows presented by KROQ Locals Only at the Constellation Room in Santa Ana, CA on the 14th, and The Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles on Friday, February 16th.
