The late Mexican regional superstar Jenni Rivera was honored posthumously with six awards including Artist of the Year; while singer/songwriter Prince Royce received four trophies including Albums Artist of the Year, Male. Winners of three awards include Shakira, La Arrolladora Banda el Limon de Rene Camacho, Natty Natasha and Romeo Santos, who was also the recipient of Telemundo's fan-voter award "Premio Tu Mundo." Industry awards for the leading labels and publishing companies of the year were given out last night at the Billboard Bash. Renowned Mexican icon Jose Jose, affably called the "Prince of Song," was awarded the Billboard Lifetime Achievement Award for a successful career that spans 50 years, and which has contributed to the development and expansion of Latin music around the globe.
