The electro-pop song, "Karate" features Mandy Jiroux- most known for co-developing the Miley and Mandy Show with Miley Cyrus, and for her popular dance tutorials featured on her YouTube channel, which has almost 1.2M subscribers- the track was produced by Steve DuBerry and written by Dominique, Steve DuBerry, and Sam Gray.
The riveting "Karate" video cinematically captures the song's up-tempo energy and narrative, and was produced by an all-star team.
· The award-winning director Jim Swaffield (Trapped in Closet, Britney Spears) directed the super-hero themed "Karate" video,
· Tom Gifford, the 3D master of POP OUT, was tapped to bring a 3D element to the video: during the final hook, the video jumps into a classic 3D look designed pop out when viewed with a pair of red/ blue glasses. Without the glasses, it will look cool as a color offset effect when watched with the naked eye.
LA-based designer Michael Ngo designed the super-hero costumes in the video. He's designed for NERVO and outfitted Arianna Grande's Dangerous Woman tour.
Actress and martial arts choreographer Leilani Smith choreographed the video. Smith is the female lead in the PlayStation VR #ArchangelGame.
