Dog the Bounty Hunter & William Shatner to Appear in New Music Video

On an evening when both William Shatner and Brian Evans will perform at The Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa (comedian Louie Anderson is rumored to be also appearing), it's during that same day when something quite unique will be occurring on Maui.

Brian Evans, whose amassed millions of views on YouTube from his live performances of "New York, New York," and "Witchcraft," to his music video productions "At Fenway" (which also stars Shatner) and "Creature at The Bates Motel," the first music video entirely filmed at The Bates Motel and for which was authorized by The Alfred Hitchcock Estate and which co-stars comedian Carrot Top, will film his latest music video, "Here You Come Again," on Maui.

Evans is the first male artist to cover the Dolly Parton classic.

American icon's Dog The Bounty Hunter, his wife Beth Chapman, and actor William Shatner will co-star in the video. Evans videos have been described as family friendly songs that are typically filmed in various legendary locations. His song "At Fenway" was added to The National Baseball Hall of Fame library and the Baseball Almanac as a result of the song, which U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry has proclaimed is now "a part of the culture of Boston."

The music video will be filmed in Wailea, Hawaii and Kaanapali, Hawaii. The adult contemporary single is a first for Evans, whose next videos include his single "Fast Car, NASCAR," "Maui Moon," and "Planet Blue." All new singles, Evans will film "Planet Blue" in his hometown of Haverhill, Massachusetts, and it will co-star William Shatner once again.

Comedian Carrot Top, who is producing the music video, had this to add: "I have always loved Dolly Parton, and the song "Hear You Come Again" has always stood out to me. It's just a sweet song. Great lyrics and melody. I can honestly say I sometimes tear up when I hear it. I'm so glad that Brian Evans is bringing it back to the mainstream, or as Dolly would say, "Islands in the stream," laughs the Luxor headlining comedian from Las Vegas. "When I thought of the idea to have Dog and Beth in it, I knew they'd be perfect for this. Brian has a unique vision for his videos that are very appealing to other people and is what has them appear in them."

Evans is also an author. His books "The Funny Robbers," which was co-written with Carrot Top's tour manager, Dan O'Leary, is in development to be a major motion picture, as well as Evans novel trilogy "Horrorscope." He is also co-writing a novel "SuperSpy" with singer Aaron Carter, and is working on another novel, "Shark," about a psychotic killer loose on Maui. His new singles are all now available on iTunes.

Evans is a supporter of The American Sleep Apnea Association after losing his mother to the condition in 2012 following knee surgery. He has sought proclamations from all 50 governors. To date, 29 governors have issued Sleep Apnea Awareness Proclamations. Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker's office advised Evans that he'd be next to issue a proclamation, which is the city Evans mother was born. Shatner has supported Evans in his efforts to have a street named after his mother.

"William Shatner has been a profound influence on me, as he has most of the world. It's such a privilege to be able to do these fun things with him," says Evans. "All of these people are exactly who you'd hope they'd be if you ever met them, great and humble people."

When Evans films his music video "Planet Blue," he will film it in his hometown of Massachusetts. Asked why he wanted to film it in Haverhill, he replied, "There's just certain things I need to get past, and doing these things helps me to do that."

Tickets for William Shatner and Brian Evans at The Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa are now on sale at honoluluboxoffice.com. On January 23rd, Oscar winning actor Jeff Bridges will perform at the same venue, with Evans also opening for "The Dude" along with Big Island singer/songwriter Dayle Tejada. Evans produces The Maui Celebrity Series, which brings in celebrities who perform monthly.
