Seattle's Dirty Sidewalks (www.facebook.com/dirtysidewalks) will release their debut album, Bring Down the House Lights, on January 12, 2018 on LP, CD and digital formats via their label No-Count Records (Cobraside Distribution). Bring Down The House Lights' twelve songs take sonic cues from the fuzzy haze of The Jesus and Mary Chain and Dandy Warhols, the honed pop song craft of Oasis, and the rich vocal colors of The Beach Boys and The Everly Brothers. Formed in 2010 by Erik Foster (vocals, guitar), older brother/Sonics guitarist/Boss Martians frontman Evan Foster (lead guitar, vocals) and longtime friend Evan O'Neil (bass), Dirty Sidewalks play a timelessly cool, hook-heavy style destined to be the soundtrack to heartaches and smoke breaks the world over.
Since forming, Dirty Sidewalks have played live extensively, opening for bands ranging from Har Mar Superstar and The Moving Units to The Mono Men and Young Fresh Fellows. In 2015, "It's Getting Better" was released digitally through MuSick Recordings and as a 7" single on No-Count Records in 2016, and licensed by HBO's Shameless. With a cache of tunes in the chamber, new drummer Aaron Nicholes in tow, and tour dates forthcoming, this band of brothers are all set for a banner year in rock 'n' roll.
