Today, Croatian mainstay Dimensions Festival complete their line-up, announcing pioneering U.S singer and rapper Anderson .Paak and The Free Nationals as 2019's headliner and must-see act. Anderson Paak is joined by a host of stellar acts for this year's outing, following the news that 2019 will be their last at Fort Punta Christo, a site they've called home for the last 8 years.
Making this a send off to remember, Dimensions have pulled out all the stops to make 2019 the best yet and will invite Anderson .Paak and The Free Nationals, a musical polymath who straddles the fringes of neo-soul and hip hop whilst pushing musical boundaries. Fresh from winning a Grammy and recently announcing new material with hip hop legend Dr Dre, ravers will have the chance to catch some unheard sounds and new age anthems inside a unique event setting. This really isn't one to miss.
Adding to the already illustrious line up that spans house, electro, techno, disco, soul, jazz and more bringing together artists from all over the globe Dimensions will bring a number of new and old friends to Croatia.
Japanese techno maestro DJ Nobu makes a mammoth debut appearance for the final outing. Dimensions have also revealed attendees will also have access to a rarely witnessed Craig Richardselectro set (on top of his b2b with Nicolas Lutz).
With frequent appearances since it's conception, Dan Shake most known for stamping his mark on dance-floors with his distinctive funk touched productions will return to Dimensions alongside long term friend of the fort Om Unit, who's sound can be found across leading bass labels Metalheadz and his own Cosmic Bridge imprint. Not forgetting Yorkshire's finest and Joy in Repetition label boss Eliphino.
Exploring the outer limits and inner workings of no wave, industrial, dub, extreme electronics, free rock and improvisation, SIlvia Kastel joins for the final fort outing while Youandewan and Christian Jayprovide sun soaked, dreamy house anthems and minimal dance-floor fillers. Another debut for 2019, Dimensions welcome re:ni, a young techno savant who's been garnering attention from around the UK and Europe over the past year for her technical mixing and cultured selections.
Dimensions Directory members Minus Kendal, Sam Hall, Nas1 and MLE are set to join alongside regular party-starters and burgeoning selectors Alexis, Andrew Hill.
Dimensions Festival takes places in one of the most stunning locations in the globe, set in a spectacular abandoned fortress. Picture coast-side chilling and sunset beach sessions to exploring the labyrinths of the fort at night. Unique arenas are plentiful, in the fort find Noah's Ballroom, The Void, The Garden, Subdub Arena and of course the 80-foot Moat, stacked high with speakers.
