"Can You Find Your Way," the new single from European electro-pop duo The Green Children, will be released digitally today, through Spinside Records (www.spinsiderecords.com). An atmospheric ballad in keeping with the spirit of the holiday season, "Can You Find Your Way" offers a positive message of accepting life and seeking one's own personal road to happiness. The song is the first release from The Green Children since their 2010 debut album Encounter, which Rolling Stone described as, "Searching dance-pop ballads from elfin dreamers…Encounter glides by like Lady Gaga on a unicorn."
The Green Children are singer-songwriters Milla Sunde and Marlow Bevan, who met at the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts, an English university established by Sir Paul McCartney. Milla is from the village of Alesund in the fjords of western Norway, Marlow from Warwick, a town in central England close to where Shakespeare lived. Both take inspiration from their charmed birthplaces, and their ethereal music is infused with folklore and magic. Sunde and Bevan are also involved in humanitarian efforts in India and Bangladesh.
Spinside Records is home to emerging artists from a range of genres, including electro-pop, dance, trance, retro-funk, hip-hop, indie rock, and electronica.
