Diana Ross Performs at PPAC Tonight

The one and only Diana Ross returns to the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) tonight, August 11, 2013 at 7PM.

Tickets are available by phone at (401) 421-ARTS (2787), and online at www.ppacri.org. Box Office Hours are Monday through Friday, 10AM - 5PM; Saturday, 10AM -2PM; and through curtain time(s) on performance days.

Tickets are $179 (limited Golden Circle), $98, $88, $68, and $58; all ticket prices include a $3 per ticket restoration charge and are subject to change without notice.

The legendary icon will perform her greatest hits in a spectacular live show featuring breathtaking costumes and stage designs.

Ross has had a profound influence on American popular culture and has become an icon in the entertainment industry. She is an Academy Award nominated actress for her unforgettable role as Billie Holiday in Lady Sings The Blues, a Tony and Golden Globe winner, a bestselling author, winner of eight American Music Awards and a recipient of The Kennedy Center Honors. Her reputation as a woman of great style and beauty has put her on the covers of hundreds of magazines. Ms. Ross has sold over 100 million records and has recorded 18 #1 hits. Her music became the sound of young America in the '60s soon after she signed with Motown Records in 1961 with The Supremes. She embarked on her extraordinary solo career in 1970, and has not stopped since. In 1988, Ms. Ross was inducted in to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of The Supremes. In 1993, the Guinness Book of World Records declared Ms. Ross the most successful female music artist in history due to her success in the United States and United Kingdom for having more hits than any female artist in the charts with a career total of 70 hit singles.
