Multiple GRAMMY® Award-winning jazz pianist and world-renowned singer, Diana Krall debuted at #1 on Billboard's Traditional Jazz Charts, #1 on the current Jazz Albums charts, #1 on iTunes Jazz Charts, #7 on Billboard's Top Current Album Chart, and #18 on the Billboard 200 with her new album Turn Up The Quiet. Earning critical praise, MOJO Magazine called the new album "spectacular" and said Krall was "on top form." People Magazine said, "Diana Krall's new music will have fans falling for her all over again." Released last week on Verve Records, Krall also appears on the cover of the May issue of Downbeat Magazine and performed on Live with Kelly and Ryan.

Diana Krall is first and always a jazz pianist. On the new album, produced by Tommy LiPuma and Diana Krall, she is most determinedly the bandleader. Krall has chosen the repertoire, conceived the ensemble arrangements and gathered three distinct bands for these sessions. The album begins with the hushed tones of "Like Someone in Love" and "Isn't It Romantic" featuring Krall in a trio setting with Christian McBride on bass and Russell Malone on guitar. A quintet with players Karriem Riggins on drums, Tony Garnier on bass, Stuart Duncan on fiddle and Marc Ribot on guitar shape songs such as "Moonglow," "Confessin' That I Love You" and "I'll See You in My Dreams." A quartet with players Anthony Wilson (guitar), John Clayton (bass) and Jeff Hamilton (drums) are featured on songs such as the hypnotic and dreamy "Sway."

Krall's world tour kicks off in North America on June 2 in Minneapolis, MN at The State Theater and will conclude with two nights at The Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on Friday, August 11 and Saturday, August 12. The European leg of the tour will kick off on September 9 in Vejle, Denmark at the Musikteater and will include two nights at Royal Albert Hall in London on September 27 and 28.
