Diamond Rio Plays Crown Center on Aug 10

Longtime country music hitmaker Diamond Rio will perform a Friday Night Concert at Crown Center on August 10. The show starts at 8 p.m. and is held rain or shine. Admission is $5 and all seating is general admission.

Diamond Rio has received the Country Music Association's award for Vocal Group of the year four times, as well as the Academy of Country Music's Top Vocal Group award twice. The group has amassed 13 Grammy Award nominations, culminating with their first Grammy in 2011 for Best Southern, Country or Bluegrass Gospel Album for The Reason.

A second Friday Night Concert will be held August 3. The artist for that show will be announced soon.

Concertgoers are not permitted to bring alcohol or glass containers, but beer will be available for purchase, along with other concessions. Visitors are encouraged to bring blankets and/or lawn chairs for seating, as well as any food and non-alcoholic drinks that they'd like.
