The Denver Music Hack Day will showcase both the Denver and Boulder area's thriving talent and is designed to put Denver on the radar of the national digital music industry. Around 100 hackers are expected at Hack Day held at Denver's Galvanize-a newly launched startup community gathering place and co-working establishment-located at 1062 Delaware St, Denver, CO 80204.
Attending hackers will have free range to develop a variety of software, hardware, mobile, web, instruments and art-anything goes as long as it's music related. Music Hack Day is an opportunity to share ideas, network, promote APIs and other technology and many attendees have gotten jobs after impressing companies with their coding talent. BEATPORT in fact hired a key employee after a past San Francisco-based Music Hack Day. API's will open first thing in the morning of the first day; hackers will spend all day creating and demos will be presented the afternoon of the second day.
