Debut EP 'RAINBOW' From Echo V Drops MONDAY 10/1

"Rainbow," the debut EP from Echo V, America's first openly gay boy band, is set to drop on Monday, October 1. The EP features five songs: "Rainbow," "Bestie," "Confiesalo," "Wine It," and "L.I.E." Writing and production credits include Mike March, Jay Maq, Randy Boo, Gama Baez, Echo Shark (Music Mind Connection), Devin Collins, and Tim Hilliard (Foreward Productions). The EP will be available for download on the group's website at www.echovmusic.com.

Echo V will be performing four live concerts during the coming month. First up, on Saturday, September 29, at 6pm is the American Fashion Designers and Models Awards Gala at the Santa Monica Bay Women's Club Ballroom (1210 4th Street). On Saturday, October 13, from 11am-9:30pm, the group will celebrate San Gabriel Valley Gay Pride at Pasadena Central Park (275 S. Raymond Avenue). On Saturday, October 20, the boys will travel to the Rainbows Festival in Phoenix, Arizona for a 2pm show (123 North 5th Street). On Saturday, November 3, at 4pm Echo V will rock the Palm Springs Pride Festival in downtown Palm Springs.

Echo V is (in alphabetical order) Gama Baez, Randy Boo, Devin Collins, Jay Maq, and Mike March. Gama is a singer/songwriter who grew up in Visalia, CA singing mariachi and dancing folklore ballet. Spanish music is among his favorites, and now he adds pop and R&B to the list. Randy hails from Denver, CO and is a vocalist, songwriter, actor, dancer, and model. His favorite music genres include rap, pop, and R&B. Devin has been featured in film and on TV and was nominated for a 2014 IAAPA Award. He grew up in Florida. Jay hails from North Carolina and loves music genres as wide-ranging from R&B to Hip Hop to musical theatre. Mike, a native of Rhode Island, is a true jack-of-all-trades. He is a singer, songwriter, and actor as well as a stage director and choreographer.
