Multi-talented entertainers, David Cassidy and Peter Noone, individually take center stage at The Grand 1894 Opera House Saturday, May 3 at 8pm for one unforgettable performance of David Cassidy and Herman's Hermits starring Peter Noone. Sponsored in part by CHEMIPLAS, BETTIS, EIM and EMERSON Process Management, this is a blast to the past featuring the dynamic collaboration of pop stars and teen heartthrobs, Cassidy and Noone.
David Cassidy was catapulted to fame as the dreamy idol and star of the hit 70's show, The Partridge Family. Melting the hearts of thousands of teenage girls with hits like "Cherish" and "I Think I Love You," Cassidy has made his mark and been lauded with nominations and awards in every entertainment arena. His unique ability to re-invent himself has kept him at the top of his game for over four decades.
Peter Noone hit it big at the age of fifteen when he achieved international fame as "Herman," lead singer of the legendary 60's pop band, Herman's Hermits. His photogenic boy-next-door good looks had him on the cover of nearly every international publication, including Time Magazine. Ultimately, Herman's Hermits sold over sixty million recordings, fourteen singles and seven albums went gold and they were twice named Cashbox's "Entertainer of the Year". Many recordings are still popular today, including "I'm Into Something Good," "There's Kind of a Hush," and "Mrs. Brown, You've Got A Lovely Daughter". More recently, Noone had a recurring role of "Paddington" on the CBS daytime drama, As The World Turns. You are sure to be star-struck with their extraordinary talent, disarming wit and compelling stage presence. Don't miss this grand performance!
