Dave Stryker to Play Birthday and BLUE TO THE BONE IV CD Release Gig at Trumpets, 3/30; April Shows Announced!

Dave Stryker will play a birthday and Blue to the Bone IV CD release gig at Trumpets this Saturday, March 30, 2013, at 8 and 10 p.m. Trumpets is located at 6 Depot Square, Montclair, NJ. Call (973) 744-2600 for more information.

The concert will feature: Dave Stryker - guitar; Jared Gold - organ; Chris Beck - drums; Steve Slagle - sax; Freddie Hendrix- trumpet; Jason Marshall - bari sax; and Vincent Gardner - trombone.

Whether you've heard guitarist Dave Stryker leading his own group (with 24 CD's as a leader to date), co-leading The Stryker/Slagle Band, or as a featured sideman with Stanley Turrentine, Jack McDuff, and many others, you know why the Village Voice calls him "one of the most distinctive guitarists to come along in recent years."
