Guitarist, singer and songwriter Dave Mason was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame in 2004 as a founding member of the Seminal Rock Band Traffic. In his long career, Mason has played and recorded with many of the era's most notable rock musicians, including Fleetwood Mac, Michael Jackson, The Rolling Stones, George Harrison, and Jimi Hendrix, where his distinctive guitar sound can be heard on "All Along the Watchtower." His best-known song is "Feelin' Alright," which was recorded by Traffic and later by Joe Cocker, who made it into a major hit. Mason's other hits include "We Just Disagree" and "Only You Know and I know."

At 19, Mason penned the song "Feelin' Alright" which was first recorded by Traffic and has since become a global anthem and recorded by dozens of artists including Joe Cocker who had a major international hit with the song in 1969.After extensive touring throughout the UK and Europe, Mason departed Traffic after their second album and headed for the USA to pursue a solo career. From there he struck international gold with his debut album "Alone Together," which is considered a seminal rock classic. It was followed by five highly successful albums (CBS/Sony), four of which received gold albums in the U.S., including Dave Mason, Mariposa De Oro, and Let It Flow, which has sold millions of copies and contained another major Mason classic, "We Just Disagree."The Granada Theatre is a fully restored historic 1920s theater located in the heart of downtown Santa Barbara which presents a variety of performing arts concerts and is home to several world class resident arts groups including Community Arts Music Association, Music Academy of the West, Opera Santa Barbara, Santa Barbara Choral Society, Santa Barbara Symphony, State Street Ballet, Theater League, and UCSB Arts & Lectures.
