Grammy-nominated rock band Daughtry have announced details for the first leg of their 2018 headlining tour.
Set to hit 30+ cities across the U.S., Daughtry will come to The Hanover Theatre for the Performing Arts on Saturday, March 31 at 8 p.m. Tickets go on sale to members on Thursday, December 14 at 10 a.m. and to the general public on Friday, December 15 at 10 a.m.
In addition to the tour, Daughtry are also gearing up to announce new music that is set to come in 2018.
"We are very much looking forward to hitting the road again and reconnecting with our fans," Chris Daughtry said. "We've been grinding away in the studio working diligently on our 5th album and cannot wait to share the new material in 2018! Our fans have waited long enough."
As the frontman for the band bearing his name, Chris Daughtry has become one of the most visible and consistent rock & roll torchbearers of the 21st century. Since rising to prominence on the fifth season of "American Idol," he has released four albums, all of which reached the Billboard Top Ten and have combined sales of more than eight million copies in the U.S.
Daughtry have released four studio albums, scored four No. 1 hits and garnered four Grammy nominations. Additionally, the band has sold over eight million albums and 16 million singles, as well as selling out concerts around the globe. At radio, the band has also earned four No. 1 singles, including the mulit-format hit No. 1 song "It's Not Over." Daughtry's self-titled album was the fastest-selling rock debut in Soundscan history, and its follow up, "Leave This Town," marked the quintet's second consecutive No. 1 album. The band's third album, "Break The Spell," was certified gold within four weeks of its release, and their last studio effort, "Baptized," produced the certified gold single, "Waiting For Superman."
