Datsik Unveils New Edition of THE DATSIK DIARIES

The newest edition of the short film series "The Datsik Diaries' chronicles North American dubstep pioneer and producer DATSIK on a grand tour of Australia and New Zealand from this past fall's Stereosonic and Our House Festivals. View it now at: http://youtu.be/H_WW_k4xBvY.

More than 11 minutes of party action captured by collaborator Teaghan McGinnis is set to the music of DATSIK, The Naked and the Famous, Major Lazer ft. Flux Pavilion, Dillon Francis, Die Antwoord remixed by NERO, Calvin Harris remixed by Diplo and Grand Theft, GRiZ and Group Love remixed by Gigamesh. The clip also features cameos by Bassnectar, Alvin Risk, JFK, Foreign Beggars, Caspa & MC Dynamite, Example, Flux Pavilion, Excision, Porter Robinson, Krewella, Major Lazer, Zedd, Diplo and Infected Mushroom.

In other news, DATSIK continues to support his current release, the first edition of the two-part COLD BLOODED EP on his own independent label Firepower Records with the second half of the project due out later this year. He has made available a new track "Scum" via his SoundCloud which will appear on Part 2 of the COLD BLOODED EP, calling it "Some throwback sh*t for you 09 heads:)." COLD BLOODED is DATSIK's first body of work since the release of his debut album Vitamin D and it features tracks such as "Vindicate" with Excision as well as collaborations with rappers Messinian and Snak The Ripper & Young Sin. Fans will be privy to catching him perform them out this spring on tour which includes appearances in Buffalo, Dallas, Milwaukee, the Orion Music + More festival in Detroit and the Digital Dreams Music Festival in Toronto.
