It's a double bill of Bronx power-houses! Legendary actor and critically acclaimed singer Danny Aiello comes to the State Theatre with special guests The Bronx Wanderers returning with him. The Bronx takes over Easton on Saturday, April 18th.

Show time is 8:00 PM. Tickets are $45/$40 and can be purchased by visiting the State Theatre Box Office, 453 Northampton Street, Easton, by calling 1-800-999-STATE, 610.252.3132 or online at www.statetheatre.org. Sponsored by Bazzini, N. Pugliese, Inc, and News Radio WAEB AM 790.

When DANNY AIELLO is not performing in the theatre or making movies, he's touring with this swinging jazz band he affectionately refers to as "Joe Geary & the Guys", led by bandleader/drummer Joe Geary. His shows feature songs from his critically acclaimed albums, together with a variety of Aiello favorites, including a special tribute to singer Bobby Darin.

The New York Times says "Mr. Aiello's singing has the bounce of his idols Bobby Darin, Frank Sinatra and Louis Prima, and the throaty lyricism of another idol, Tony Bennett" and The Los Angeles Times says "his voice warm and amiable, his phrasing easygoing and conversational, his singing revealed influences from his numerous idols - Bobby Darin in particular... but as with his acting, Aiello's singing at its core was far more than an accumulation of influences. It was a pure manifestation, instead, of his own rich persona, of the abundant life experience he brings to his art."

One Part "Oldies", Two Parts "Rock N' Roll", THE BRONX WANDERERS are the perfect musical storm. Former gold record producer Yo' Vinny and his two sons, Vinny "The Kid" and Nicky "Stix", deliver a non-stop barrage of hit after hit after delicious hit. The family's rockin' band rounds out this euphoric journey through time with the lineage and prowess that still sets the heart on fire.

With favorites like "Sherry", "Runaway", "We Gotta Get Out Of This Place", "Teenager in Love", "There's a Kind of Hush", "Tie A Yellow Ribbon", "Put Your Head On My Shoulder", "Looking for an Echo" and even Coldplay's "Viva La Vida", this show positively dazzles the listener with a non-stop powerhouse of hits right from the word "go".
