As Dim Mak gears up to invade New York next month, we are thrilled to announce the addition of Dada Life and Miami's Smokepurpp to the Dim Mak Neighborhood lineup, taking place this June 10th at Brooklyn Mirage. The announcement follows the release of Dada Life's new album Our Nation and Smokepurpp's buzzing Bless Yo Trap mixtape as well as his own national headlining "Outbreak" tour for Monster Energy Drink. Dada Life and Smokepurpp join an eclectic lineup featuring Steve Aoki, Carnage, QUIX, Ricky Remedy, Max Styler, R3LL, Bok Nero, and Noise Cans performing under the Brooklyn sun this summer.
In 2006 and 2007, Steve Aoki's music lifestyle brand Dim Mak held its first two NEIGHBORHOOD festivals in Los Angeles. These two legendary events featured burgeoning acts in the indie and electro movements, and represented ground zero of global underground culture at that time. Cut to 2018 - Dim Mak is relaunching NEIGHBORHOOD as a community-centered mini-festival embarking in select North American markets. Inspired by the exciting and eclectic soundscape of modern music, Dim Mak is thrilled to kick off the rebirth of NEIGHBORHOOD in a city that is home to some of the most talented hip hop and electronic music artists in history - Brooklyn, NY.
ABOUT THE BROOKLYN MIRAGE:
The Brooklyn Mirage is the outdoor space of Avant Gardner, an 80,000-square-foot complex situated in East Williamsburg. During the summer season, the location earns its oasis title thanks to a proliferation of plants and palm trees. With a KV2 Audio system and idyllic scenery, the Brooklyn Mirage is an architectural and sonic marvel.
