DREAMERS Pay Tribute to Dolores O'Riordan With Cover of ZOMBIE Image

DREAMERS fans are well aware of the band's love for The Cranberries and "Zombie," as the classic track has been a staple of their live set dating back to fall of last year. They recorded their haunting version of the song last November at Steakhouse Studio in North Hollywood, CA, with producer Colin Brittain, and are debuting it now as a poignant tribute to late Cranberries vocalist Dolores O'Riordan. "I remember listening to The Cranberries 'No Need To Argue' cassette tape on repeat with my older sister when I was just a kid," says frontman Nick Wold. "It's an album that I always found myself going back to as I grew up, and it always transports me back to a deeper, more romantic time in my imagination.

We recorded our cover of Zombie a month and a half before the terrible news that Dolores O'Riordan had died so young. Now it has become our tribute to her, her art, and her incredible otherworldly voice that continues to transport me and so many others to that un-nameable place."

Dubbed "one of the coolest bands in LA" by Paste, DREAMERS are currently putting the finishing touches on the much-anticipated follow-up to 2016's This Album Does Not Exist. Recorded in Paso Robles, CA, the yet-to-be-titled album is set for a summer release.

The trio (vocalist/guitarist Nick Wold, bassist/vocalist Nelson and drummer Jacob Wick) will be previewing select tracks from the album on their upcoming tour with New Politics, kicking off February 16 at the House of Blues inCleveland, OH, followed by April dates with All Time Low. A complete list of dates can be found HERE and below. Fans can also catch the band debut appearance at Bonnaroo in June.

The Los Angeles-via-Brooklyn trio have spent the past few years touring non-stop, playing everywhere from tiny bars and massive arenas to festivals such as Lollapalooza, Bumbershoot and Firefly. Along the way, they've shared stages with the likes of Stone Temple Pilots, Catfish and The Bottlemen, Weezer, and The Griswolds, while garnering coverage from Fader, Entertainment Weekly and Paste, among many others.

Full-length debut This Album Does Not Exist spawned a national radio hit, the electro-sprinkled pop gem "Sweet Disaster," which hit No. 7 on the Alternative radio chart and was spotlighted on SiriusXM's Alt Nation for several months. Three other songs also charted nationally: the '90s throwback "Drugs," the crooning "Wolves (You Got Me)," which initially charted on Alt Nation in late 2014, when DREAMERS were still unsigned, and the soulful, brisk power-pop of the current single "Painkiller."

The whirlwind started when SiriusXM's Alt Nation started spinning the band's first single, the independently released "Wolves," in November 2014, and placed it in full rotation. The song immediately connected, landing in the Top 18 countdown for weeks on end, and catching the ear of Stone Temple Pilots, who hand-picked the trio to open some spring 2015 U.S. dates. A deal with Fairfax Recordings soon followed.
