DOWNLOWD Premieres 'Enter The Maze' via Your EDM, Out Now (2/2); Announces Details for Debut EP

Los Angeles-based DJ/producer-DOWNLOWD-releases his newest single "Enter The Maze." Along with the drop of his first original single in 2018 (following last month's remix of Fly By Midnight's "XL"), DOWNLOWD announces details for his debut EP--entitled Origins and slated to come late March 2018.

Premiered via Your EDM yesterday, Matt Meadow says of the single: "I've heard bass house, I've heard what some would call "cinematic" dance music, but in my memory, I can't remember ever hearing a combination of the two. Downlowd is here with a new single called 'Enter The Maze' that introduces a whole new chapter in his career, as well as a chapter in his character's story, as well."

Trent Shamaley says of his newest DOWNLOWD project: "'Enter the Maze' continues our protagonist's story directly after the events of 'Unplugged'- with the help of what seems to be a new ally. Downlowd must now come to terms with his new reality as a computerhead and escape the treacherously vast Genesis facility. Unfortunately, the only way out is through the tech labyrinth... A cybernetic jungle, riddled with genetically modified guards, robots, and hologhosts. To escape and find his way home, Downlowd must 'ENTER THE MAZE'."

DOWNLOWD also announces and releases details for his debut EP, Origins. "Enter The Maze" is the third single to be officially released from the EP, slated to drop post-SXSW and MMW in March 2018. Late 2017 came with the release of "Well Connected" and "Unplugged"--the first two chapters of the DOWNLOWD narrative, now formally composing together Origins.
