DESTRUCTO's New Track 'Catching Plays' All About Game

From its lyrics to "Jumpman," its unique Tony Montana/Air Jordan-inspired artwork by Naturel, DESTRUCTO's new track "Catching Plays"-out today, August 12, on HITS HARD--is all about game.

As the lead single from his next EP RENEGADE that's due out later this fall, "Catching Plays" is a collaboration with one of Australia's finest, Wax Motif, and features Pusha T and Starrah.

Says Edwin Ortiz of COMPLEX who premiered the track, "Destructo has already proven his ability in the past to create party rockers for the masses, and that continues ... This time around the L.A.-based DJ and producer links up with Wax Motif, Pusha T, and rising talent Starrah for a track that will have you on a roller coaster high with its backdrop changes. "Catching Plays" is the follow-up to "4Real" featuring Ty Dolla $ign and iLoveMakonnen, DESTRUCTO's most successful track to date with nearly five million streamson Spotify, over one million streams on soundcloud, and its music video logging almost one million views on YouTube. His uncompromising approach to music spurned the creation of g-house, a new unique hip-hop and house hybrid currently spreading like wild fire around the world. His first major label release, 2014's WEST COAST EP, featured rap heavyweights such as YG, Ty Dolla $ign, Problem, Too $hort, Warren G and Kurupt.

In support of the track and the EP, DESTRUCTO will return to the road this fall on the "THE RENEGADE TOUR" presented by SMIRNOFF and HARD. His headlining jaunt kicks off September 15 at Beta in Denver, CO, storms through major markets across the country and comes to a close November 12 at Webster Hall in NYC. Support comes from the likes of D.R.A.M., E-40, iLoveMakonnen, AC Slater, Felix Da Housecat, Drezo, Hotel Garuda, Ganz, Josh Pan, VINDATA, Dateless and Sita Abellan on select dates.
