Experience the greatest music of the '60s, '70s and '80s with "DECADES REWIND," a rock & roll extravaganza featuring a live 15-piece band performing medleys of your favorite hits, spanning 30 years!

The show's world premiere is launching in Bradenton, FL on Monday, November 9 at the Manatee Performing Arts Center. Three other shows throughout western Florida will be taking place throughout the month, including another show in Bradenton, and performances in Port Charlotte and Largo.

Take a ride through the most memorable decades of American culture through a unique combination of sight, sound and video featuring 100 songs in 12 medleys, with a visual accompaniment on three larger-than-life screens. "DECADES REWIND" is an unparalleled, interactive multimedia musical experience that will have you jumping out of your seats and dancing in the aisles! In the coming months, this musical event will soon take centerstage in Southern Florida, and throughout the U.S.

Audiences will be treated to a wide array of legendary songs throughout each medley, embracing the most memorable moments of music history, including hits by Chubby Checker, Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, The Doors, Marvin Gaye, The Monkees, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, Prince, Guns N' Roses, and so many others. Theatergoers won't be able to stop themselves from singing along.

"DECADES REWIND" was created by the show's keyboardist, Peter Gatti, and drummer, Mark Blinkhorn.

Gatti is the owner of indie label and management company eVinyl Records and he's affiliated with Loud & Proud Records, home of artists like Lynyrd Skynyrd, Rick Springfield, The Winery Dogs and Flyleaf. He also owns and operates Studio G in the Tampa area, a high-end studio used by many local and national artists, which is also the home of Rockitmanradio.com, an internet based radio station. Blinkhorn recently retired from the Sarasota, FL County Fire Department after 20 years to devote all of his time to "DECADES REWIND."

Other members of the "DECADES REWIND" band include Music Director and vocalist Al Owen, Joanne Anderson (vocals), Dave Brooks (vocals), Jimmy DeLisi (guitar), Frank J. Edmondson III (vocals), Erika Flaskamp (vocals), Pete Harrison (trumpet), David Hope (trombone), J.K. Miller III (vocals), Doug Mock (vocals), Ryan Redden (saxophone), Ashley Renee (vocals), and Jeff Stoddard (bass guitar).

Students from the drama clubs at local high schools have been invited to perform at each show, and costumes for "DECADES REWIND" were designed by Debra Bokelbreg, who's a members of the Cirque du Soleil family.

A portion of every ticket sale from each show will be donated to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure organization.
