American rapper and songwriter DDLVee (born Dwayne Tresvant), the nephew of Ralph Tresvant from the hit R&B group New Edition today announced the release of his highly anticipated new single '9000 Yolanda' as a free download which he teased on Twitter last week. Written by DDLVee and produced by up-and-coming music producer #PaytOhMyGosh, '9000 Yolanda' is driven by a sticky melody and evocative lyrics with DDLVee immediately resolving in the opening of the song that he's on his own with the message:

"I kept on waiting for your help/It's true/Now I know that ain't the thing to do"

Presumably speaking to his uncle Ralph and then proclaiming on the hook:

"I'm right back to trappin/I'm right back to grabbin and moving these packages"

Throughout, DDLVee accepts his circumstances as they are, and uses them as the basis of his actions. '9000 Yolanda' is the rapper and songwriter's debut single.

"When I wrote and recorded '9000 Yolanda' I felt like i was out of options living out of my car. I needed help. I needed advice," commented DDLVee. "Under these conditions, there is no long-term plan only a plan to survive."

A Tresvant, so no stranger to the music business, DDLVee joined New Edition on stage as a kid and toured with Master P and Audio Push who popularized the West Coast Hip-Hop dance known as Jerkin'.

DDLVee reveals, "I'll be releasing a song every month for the rest of the year with some performances in between. I hope to attract the attention of Nigil Mack (@mackattsck007), TDE (@dangerookipawaa) and Cash with XO (@cashxo) just to name a quick few.
