Coronado Playhouse presents The Rollers - in Concert, on Friday December 29, 2017 at 7:00pm at Coronado Playhouse. Considered San Diego's premier Beatles tribute band, The Rollers were founded in 2011 by the band's bassist and vocalist, Martín Martiarena, then a student at San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts. Since, the band has been in constant demand, playing frequently all over southern California, primarily in San Diego at Qualcomm Stadium, countless private functions and appearing on TV.
Playing for one night only, The Rollers will perform hits from The Beatles career, spanning from 1963-1970, including irresistible classics such as Let It Be, Hard Day's Night, Hey, Jude and I Wanna Hold Your Hand. Dressed as The Beatles, The Rollers' set includes two costume changes from their early career to their appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show, culminating in the Abbey Road era. The Rollers are recognized not only for their excellent musicianship but also for their skill and dedication in recreating The Beatles' distinctive sound note for note.
The Rollers' concert performance is a fundraiser for the Playhouse's upcoming production of Next to Normal, running May 25-June 17, 2018.
