Justin Timberlake took to Twitter over the weekend to confirm reports that he will be performing at the SUPER BOWL next February in Minnesota. The video confirmation also features his BFF, Jimmy Fallon who rumors say, may also be involved in the halftime extravaganza. Check out the post below:

Fans will recall that Timberlake last performed at the SUPER BOWL in 2004 alongside Janet Jackson. The show is unfortunately most-remembered for an incident which became known as "Nipplegate", in which Jackson had a "wardrobe malfunciton." Reports are swirling that Jackson may also make a return to the SUPER BOWL now that the SCANDAL has long passed.
This year's NFL season finale will be broadcast on NBC, home of Fallon's TONIGHT SHOW. Timberlake is a frequent guest on the late night show, and a performance by the duo in primetime would surely be a ratings coup for the Peacock network.
