Colter Wall Confirms 2018 Headline Tour Image

Colter Wall will embark on his largest headline tour to date in 2018 including shows at Knoxville's Bijou Theater, Washington D.C.'s U Street Music Hall, New York's Bowery Ballroom, Dallas' Club Dada, San Francisco's The Independent and Seattle's Neumos among many others. Tickets for the newly announced shows go-on sale thisFriday, December 15 at 10:00am local time. See below for complete tour details.

The tour follows a breakout year for Wall, which included over 40 sold out shows and saw the release of his acclaimed self-titled debut album. The record-produced by Grammy Award winning producer Dave Cobb-landed on "Best of 2017" lists atRolling Stone, Paste and UPROXX, who praised, "...this self-titled slow burner is surprisingly fresh, full of existential dread and gorgeous, meandering melodies that occasionally whip themselves up into frenzies. For all your friends who declare pop has cannibalized country, play Colter Wall for them, and watch them slip back into the outlaw past with glee." Watch the official music video for "Kate McCannon" HERE.

Available now on Young Mary's Record Co. via Thirty Tigers (available here), Colter Wall is continues to receive overwhelming critical praise...

"Colter Wall is one of country music's most exciting young voices. His debut album is strange and stirring, rarely ever rising above a gentle rumble."-Pitchfork

"If Wall is the future of country music, I want that future now."-Noisey

"A blend of Woody Guthrie folk, Bob Dylan storytelling and Townes
Van Zandt despair, all delivered in a deeper-than-Cash baritone, Colter Wall is
a mesmerizing album."-Rolling Stone

"Producer Dave Cobb shows his mastery by mostly staying out of the path of this talented freight train-one helluva debut. - Rolling Stone

"Colter Wall's songwriting is full of hard-won wisdom"-NPR Music

"...his emergence suggests that a new generation of fans is eager to hear the 'real' thing, again, for the first time."-Washington Post

"...his weathered baritone, the stories he tells, and the intense, spare music he plays on his self-titled debut sound steeped in the ages."-Boston Globe

"All this helps makes Wall, who exudes an ancient, wise humanity, an up-and-coming Americana face worth watching."-American Songwriter

"With a sound that celebrates the past while adding an entirely individual spin that sets him apart from the ever-growing crowd. While many artists spend two albums finding their voice, it seems Wall was born with his, and if this record is any indication, it has a lot more to say."-No Depression

Recorded at Nashville's historic RCA Studio A, the album features Wall on vocals and acoustic guitar, Cobb on acoustic guitar, Chris Powell (Brent Cobb, Jamey Johnson) on drums, Robbie Turner (Waylon Jennings, Chris Stapleton) on pedal steel and Mike Webb(Southern Family) on piano.

A native of Swift Current, Saskatchewan Canada, Wall's sound is comprised of resonate and raw baritone vocals, folk and bluegrass style guitar and banjo picking, steady kick-drum stomping, and visually provoking, story telling lyrics. Since debuting in 2015 with the release of his EP, Imaginary Appalachia, Wall has received overwhelming acclaim-Steve Earle declares, "Colter Wall is bar-none the best young singer-songwriter I've seen in twenty years," while Rick Rubin, who recently signed Wall to his American Songs publishing company, proclaims, "Colter sings and writes songs in ways seemingly lost in time. There is an agelessness about him so unusual in someone so young."
