Colin West's Here & Beyond tells a touching story about a scientist who, after being diagnosed with Dementia, goes on a quest to relive his memories by using a time machine. This award-winning film won more awards at Miami Science Fiction Festival, winning Best Actor (Greg Lucey), Best Art Direction and Best Scenic Design. It previously screened at Cinequest Film Festival, Other World Austin Film Festival, Boston Science Fiction Film Festival and New Filmmakers LA. This topical film stars Greg Lucey (Sleepwalk) and Christine Kellogg-Darrin (Grey's Anatomy).

A scientist is diagnosed with dementia and, with the help of his angsty teenage neighbor, attempts to use a time machine to relive his memories.

Colin West is an award-winning director, producer, and screenwriter based in Los Angeles. His short film We Were Not Made For This World, adapted from Eisner Award-winning cartoonist Paul Hornschemeier's comic of the same name, was awarded a Vimeo Staff Pick. His previous science fiction short The Long Slow Flight of the Ashbot adapted from Ignatz Award-winning cartoonist Joel Priddy won the Best Science Fiction short at the Berlin Short Film Festival. His films have screened internationally at numerous high profile film festivals including Cinequest, The Chicago Underground Film Festival, Athens Film Festival, Boston Sci-Fi Film Festival and, Berlin Short Film Festival.

The film was produced by Michael Orion Downing and Nick Benjamin. Downing had previously worked with Amazon Studios, Lin Pictures, and many more. Quinn Armstrong, who co-produced the film, is also an award-winning director and began his career as an actor, appearing on professional stages in a variety of roles and on screen in national commercials and broadcast TV shows, including NBC's Grimm.

The stellar cast includes Greg Lucey whose notable credits include Sleepwalk, Celluloid Dreams and Last Dance, Christine Kellogg-Darrin who starred in Shameless, Greys Anatomy and newcomer Laurel Porter who starred in As High as the Sky.
